Tortoise or Hare? (Part II)

Paula’s Post #97 – Two weeks ago, I promised you  I’d continue with my post on trying to survive as a struggling novelist in our multi-tasking world.  Alas, I fear I must now admit to failure at fulfilling that promise. For that I sincerely apologize.

My downfall?

Well, as pathetic as it is to report, this past week we found ourselves seriously over-extended. Engaged in the mother of all ‘multi-tasking’ in a week that took us from California to Canada by airplane, – then another 2500 kilometres back south again – driving.

Three states, three hotel rooms, one very inquisitive new puppy, soaking it all in. I’d tell you more about it… but I’m falling asleep at the keyboard. With a little juggling, I’m sure I’ll be able to wrap this post up… tomorrow.

  1. 🙂
Sometimes, I feel like an eccentric old lady, collecting, collecting, collecting…. so many great characters and stories are starting to be saved up.. but someday, and hopefully in the not too distant future, I’m going to have to stop collecting the writers’ currency and turn it into completed manuscripts.
    As ever, thanks for following!
